American Falls, Niagara

On a trip to Niagara, Tanner and I got up early and scouted for a place to get a sunrise pic.  Only problem was, there wasn’t a sunrise. It was a bitter cold, dreary, grey, cloudy morning.  A photographer I admire and follow once said, “You can’t control the weather, so don’t stress about it.  If you want sun but get clouds, then find something to shoot in the clouds.  Make do,”

As the morning turned from black to dull grey, I set up my tripod on this street with a beautiful, almost old-world view of the American falls.  Most of the town of Niagara is thick with the cheap plastic feel of commercialism.  But this one street still looks like it might have before the hotels, casinos and tourist shops were built.
